HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

This program is a 6-month or 1-year program between a Client and a Coach.

WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS FROM ME?

  1. The client will make their coaching sessions a priority. They have chosen to invest in themself. They will take time before each session to complete and email the session preparation questions their coach will provide them via email. They can use it as a template to create a new email for their responses for further appointments. The most crucial part is for them to have an idea of what they’d like to take away from the session. Coaching is strongly based on client’s agenda.

  2. The client will arrive to every session on time.

  3. They will come to every session centered and open-minded. They are willing to change their beliefs and patterns if they do not serve them anymore.

  4. They will give feedback in the moment about their career coach’s coaching experience -- what works as well as what doesn’t. They acknowledge that their coach is here to support them, not judge them or make decisions for them. If something their coach says does not resonate with them, they will let the coach know about it.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY COACH?

  1. The coach will listen closely to the client, respond to what they hear and ask questions. If they hear something in the clients voice or body language that sparks an intuitive idea, thought, or image, they will likely share it and ask the client questions about it. Often it is these small nuances that create the bigger shifts for clients.

  2. At the end of the session, if the client does not mention what actions they are ready to take, the coach will make a coach request. They will ask clients to stretch themselves, deepen the work done in the sessions by either journaling at home, taking a defined action, resolving relationships or tackling things that feel incomplete. I am free to negotiate, accept or decline. Most of the work will be in regards to self-awareness and powerful choice.

HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION?

The Client understands that information will be held as confidential unless he states otherwise, in writing, except as required by law. The Client understands that certain topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals or clients for training, educational or consultation purposes and that the Coach will take great care to change any identifiable details to protect the Client’s privacy. The Client also understands that if he reveals information that involves physically hurting himself or others, or any act that constitutes a crime, or any act in violation of existing laws in the Philippines, the Coach must report such information to the proper competent authority and/or refer to mental health professionals accordingly.

HOW RESPONSIBLE ARE YOU FOR MY EXPERIENCE?

The Client understands that the services is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of his life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education and recreation. The Client acknowledges that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporate coaching into those areas, and implement his choices is exclusively his responsibility. The Client understands that coaching does not involve the diagnosis of treatment of mental disorders as defined by the Philippine Psychiatric Association. The Client understands that coaching is not a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment and he will not use it in place of any form of diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. If the Client is currently receiving psychiatric care, he will consult with his caregiver to ensure working with the Coach is in his best interest at this time. The Client also understands that services is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business or other qualified professionals. The Client will seek independent professional guidance for legal, medical, financial, business or other matters. The Client understands that all decisions in these areas are exclusively his and he acknowledges that his decisions and his actions regarding them are his sole responsibility. The Client hereby releases the Coach from any liability from injury, damage, loss or death or other injury arising from this agreement and hereby waive any claims arising therefrom.

WILL THERE BE INSURANCE?

Because the service is not considered medical consultation or treatment, health insurance does not apply.
